Changing the Image: a Challenge for Glasgow North East

I love Glasgow North East for many reasons, but it doesn’t always have the best image. So I’m challenging you to change that. Send me your favourite photos of where you live: the hidden gems, forgotten treasures, and potential jewels, and we’ll add them to our gallery. The best will be displayed in an exhibition held in the constituency.

The photos can be of anything: a park, a building, a bus…it doesn’t have to be pretty, just as long as it’s an image that sums up what you think is interesting or positive about Glasgow North East. The competition is open to everyone in the constituency, and entries from children will be particularly welcome.

I want to hear from you!

Send your photos to: changetheimage@annemclaughlinmp.com, with a line about why you’ve chosen it, and a bit about yourself. If you’re still at school: your age, class, and the name of the school. For further information: visit http://annemclaughlinmp.com/changing-the-image/

Cranhill Development Trust - Donate a Car and Make a Difference

Cranhill Development Trust (CTD) is a place for people of all backgrounds in the heart of the east end of Glasgow to come together for support, training, volunteering, and for various social clubs and opportunities.

Cranhill Development Trust is based in an area of multiple deprivation with little in the way of services, transport links or opportunities, and so aims to provide services tailored to the needs of the community it serves. Our projects aim to increase employability, skills, social opportunities and healthy lifestyles for those in Cranhill and, increasingly, across the wider east of Glasgow.

Despite the issues it faces, Cranhill and the east of Glasgow are full of fantastic people, and as the CDT continues to grow to work with more of them, the more support we will require to address those issues.
